Alabama White BBQ Sauce

This horseradish-based white barbecue sauce is a great alternative to traditional red barbecue sauce. It has a tangy and slightly sweet flavor with a kick of horseradish. It's perfect for adding flavor to grilled meats and vegetables, and it's easy to make with only a few ingredients. Enjoy!

Equipment

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Whisk or spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  • Taste the sauce and adjust the seasonings to your liking.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve the sauce with grilled chicken, pork, or beef.

Notes

This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Adjust the amount of horseradish to your liking. Add more if you prefer a stronger flavor or less if you prefer a milder flavor.
This sauce pairs well with grilled meats and vegetables.
